1. Use of the App

The D.Waste app is designed to provide AI-powered assistance for identifying and classifying waste items to promote proper disposal and recycling practices. You agree to use the App solely for lawful, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise licensed. You shall not use the App in any manner that could harm, disable, or impair its functionality or interfere with other users’ access.

2. Accuracy of Information

While D.Waste aims to provide helpful and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of its AI-generated recommendations. Local waste management rules vary by region, and it is the user’s responsibility to verify disposal guidelines with local authorities.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, source code, branding, design elements, AI models, and underlying software used in the App are the intellectual property of D.Waste, unless otherwise stated. No part of the App may be copied, modified, distributed, or reused without our written permission.

4. White-Label Licensing

Educational institutions or organizations using a white-labeled version of the App must enter into a separate license agreement with D.Waste. This license allows limited customization (e.g., logos, colors, names) and access to hosted services. Redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or modification of the App outside the terms of the license agreement is strictly prohibited. White-label licenses are typically subject to annual renewal.

5. Limitation of Liability

D.Waste shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes but is not limited to damages for data loss, service interruptions, or inaccurate classification results. The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your rights to use the App will immediately cease, and you must delete all associated data and materials in your possession.

7. Modifications to the Terms

D.Waste reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where D.Waste is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

9. Data Privacy

We respect your privacy. D.Waste does not collect personal information unless explicitly provided by the user or institution. 10. Edge Devices and Analytics

D.Waste may be deployed on edge devices such as tablets, kiosks, or offline systems for local processing. In such cases, the institution or user is responsible for managing physical and network security of the device.

D.Waste may collect anonymized analytics data such as classification events, feature usage frequency, and performance logs. This information helps us enhance the application and deliver insights to institutional partners. Institutions may opt into or out of analytics dashboards as part of their license agreement.
