What Should I Do With It?
Artificial flowers frequently used for home decor, seasonal arrangements, and craft projects are not accepted in curbside recycling programs. Because these items are usually made from a mix of unlabeled plastics and wire, they cannot be processed and will tangle in mechanical sorting equipment, meaning they must be thrown in the regular trash when discarded. Try to extend their lifespan by donating them to local thrift shops.
Before throwing this away, see if it can be fixed up, given to a friend, or donated to a local thrift shop. Keeping items in use is the best way to stop waste before it starts!
