Glossy paper wall posters used for room decoration

What Should I Do With It?

Posters commonly used for bedroom decor, educational displays, and event advertisements are highly recyclable if they are made entirely of paper, including glossy variants. Before tossing them into the bin, always remove any sticky adhesives like Blu Tack or tape. However, you should never recycle posters that have been laminated with a shiny plastic coating or mounted onto rigid backing boards, as these blended materials cannot be processed by paper mills.

💡 Helpful Tip

Before throwing this away, see if it can be fixed up, given to a friend, or donated to a local thrift shop. Keeping items in use is the best way to stop waste before it starts!
